The live video mode allows you to take full control of real time moving easily. You may play with default settings, or change speed, length, and direction of each shot. Even during the shooting, you can always make changes instantaneously to meet new needs.

Q: How to change my perk?
Each contribution made is recorded as separate. If you would like to receive a new perk, you can do this in a separate contribution. Also, please note that Indiegogo does not allow backers to add multiple perks in a single transaction, so if you'd like to claim multiple perks, please make a new contribution for each perk. However, we suggest you send an email to support@ismartta.com first if you want to change your perk, so we may work with you to find out the easiest solution.
Q: What’s your refund policy?
1）When the campaign is live: you will be able to initiate a refund through your Indiegogo account.
2）When the campaign has ended and:
- The contribution is not fulfilled: please send an email to support@ismartta.com to work out the method for refunds.
- The contribution is fulfilled: we are unable to process any refunds.
Q: What's your return policy?
We are unable to process any returns for Indiegogo contributions. While all contributions are final, our standard 1 year warranty still applies.
Q: What's your warranty policy?
SliderMini comes with a standard 1 year warranty. We guarantee that SliderMini, when delivered to you, is in original packaging and is free from any defects in manufacturing, materials and workmanship. During the warranty period, we will, at our discretion, repair or replace any defective parts within a reasonable period of time. As for the shipping fee incurred for under-warranty items, we are happy to refund it within reasonable limits.
Q: Where is your company? Where is SliderMini manufactured and shipped?
Smartta International Limited is a company registered in Cayman Islands, with the team located in China. SliderMini is manufactured in China, and will be shipped from China.

Q: What system does the app support?
iOS and Android both.
Q: When will I need to use a shutter release cable?
We strongly recommend using a shutter release cable when shooting time-lapses or stop motion with DSLR. Not needed if you are using a smartphone instead.
Q: How do I charge the battery?
A type-C USB and an extra charger are included to charge SliderMini (Not every perk comes with the extra charger, please refer to "Items Included" in each perk). It takes about 1.5 hours to fully charge it. Battery can be charged when device is in use.
Q: Do I need to keep the app open for video capture?
No, you don’t need to. Our team did think about this, so we took care of it already.
Q: Is the loop mode available for SliderMini?
Yes, SliderMini will have the function to oscillate back and forth automatically.
Q: What's the speed? how long it takes for one travel?
When controlled by app, it moves at 100% speed of 1cm/s & minimum speed of 6um/s; when controlled by hardware button, it moves at 100% speed. With a 20cm travel distance, it takes 20 seconds to go from one end to the other when moving at 100% speed.
Q: How do I shoot timelapses with DSLR?
Set exposure in DSLR, and connect DSLR to the slider with the shutter release cable.
Q: Is it possible to use the slider upside down?
Yes it is. But we do not recommend doing this over a long period of time.
Q: What kind of camera does SliderMini support for shooting timelapse?
SliderMini features a common 2.5mm trigger socket, and by default it comes with 3 standard 2.5mm shutter release cables for connecting SliderMini to your camera. Below is a list of them and some supported camera model# for your quick review:

Q: Will GH5 or GoPro work on SliderMini?
Yes.
Q: How many preset timelapse modes are there? what are they?
SliderMini comes with 10 timelapse presets: Star Trails/The Milky Way/The Day Road/The Night Road/Silk Texture/Cloud/Lightning Storm/Sunset/Stream of people/Bloom. You can also make your own custom presets if you wish.
Q: Can I manually control the slider totally without using the motor?
If you unscrew a few parts on the slider you will be able to push to slide, totally without using the motor. However, we do not recommend using it this way, because:
1) This may harm the sliding filament mechanism and affect its normal use;
2) Compared to motorized sliding, it moves harder, and less smooth.
So, to ensure product performance and user experience we recommend app remote control or one-button press control.
Q: How long does SliderMini battery last?
SliderMini features a built-in 1500mAH lithium-polymer battery. During our tests, it supports approximately 800 active shots when carrying a 1KG camera. So it should meet at least 2 days’ shooting needs for common video-makers. However this is for your reference as the battery life depends on the shooting mode, moving speed, shot incline, the type of camera you use, etc.
Q: What's the Bluetooth pairing range?
Within 33 ft (10m) normally.
Q: Can it be mounted on any tripod or only your own tripod?
Any tripod. Underneath the SliderMini, there’s a 3/8-16″ socket, which comes with a 1/4-20″ adapter/receptor fitted.
Q: How do I mount my camera/smartphone on SliderMini?
A camera (or smartphone holder) can be mounted via 3/8″ or 1/4″ screw to the top of the sliding carriage. There is a single 3/8-16″ thread on the plate, and a panoramic adapter head is included to convert that into 1/4-20″ screw. You may also use the mini ball head or a gimbal to mount the camera.
Q: Does my phone need to stay in Bluetooth range to keep the slider going after it is set?
No. It will keep moving after it is set, even when your phone is out of Bluetooth range.
Q: What's the difference between SliderMini and edelkrone?
We've seen someone saying that SliderMini looks like a rip off of edelkrone. Simply, we are fully confident that SliderMini is UNIQUE: Not a rip off of edelkrone, or any other brand.
With brand new design concept, special engineering structure, distinctive app, SliderMini has a bunch of features that most other sliders don't include, like a quick move by hardware button, greater load capacity with the smallest size, real hidden design (even battery is self-contained in the body). If you try SliderMini and compare it with other sliders such as edelkrone, you will be sure to tell why and how SliderMini is decently UNIQUE.
